Out of hoursWestern Avenue, the North Circular and the roads off them
The A40 Western Avenue and the A406 North Circular are both red routes, so neither is a place the fitter can stop. If the tyre goes on one of them, get the car into a side road or onto private ground first, driving slowly, and only if that is safe.

Ealing Hospital, Westway Shopping Park, the Park Royal estates and the station car parks are private ground, and the operator has to agree to the work.
If the search was for a mobile mechanic, that is not us. The fitter deals with tyres: a new one fitted, a puncture repaired where the tyre allows it, or a locking wheel nut removed when the key is lost. We do not take on batteries, brakes or engine faults.
- The area is inside the London-wide Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), in force since 29 August 2023: a charge for driving a vehicle that does not meet its emission standards, not for a parked car.
- If the car is in a controlled parking zone permit bay, tell us so the fitter can park legally beside it.
- We cannot stop or work on a red route; the car needs to be on a side street or private ground first.
Station, retail park and industrial estate car parks are private land. The fitter can work there only if the owner or operator allows it, so check the signs or ask first. A driveway or a quiet, well lit residential street is usually the easiest place for the work.
