Founder-led
Hiwad Yarkhil founded the company in 2023 and still runs it, so you deal with the people who do the work, not a call centre.
Rescue Tyres was built on a simple idea: getting your tyres sorted should not mean losing half a day at a garage. So the tyre fitter comes to you.

Rescue Tyres was founded by Hiwad Yarkhil, and the company was registered at Companies House in 2023. The idea is simple: instead of you taking the car to a garage, a fitter brings the tyre and the tools to your driveway, your workplace or a safe spot off the road.
Today we run more than one van from a single depot at Brent Cross, NW2, and we have fitted more than 2,000 tyres. We repair to the British Standard (BS AU 159), agree the price before we start, and only recommend what your car actually needs. You can read what drivers say on our reviews page.

Our one base is a depot at Unit 9 Adrian Avenue, Brent Cross, London NW2 1LX, in the London Borough of Barnet. It is where the vans are loaded and the tyre stock is kept. It is not a garage you drive into: every job is done where your car is, at home, at work or in a safe car park. We have no other branch and no fitters stationed elsewhere, so every van sets off from Brent Cross. That is also why the arrival time depends on how far you are from NW2, and why we give it to you on the call rather than quote a fixed time.
Our registered office at Companies House is Unit G, 41 Warwick Road, Solihull B92 7HS. It is a registered office only, not a service location.

We run more than one van. Each van is set up to fit and balance a tyre at the car, repair punctures to BS AU 159 and remove locking wheel nuts.
Common tyre sizes are often on the van. Others are sourced for the job, which is why we ask for your size when you call and confirm that we have the tyre before anyone sets off.
Puncture repairs follow BS AU 159, the British Standard for repairing car tyres. The tyre comes off the wheel and is inspected inside, and a repair is only made when the hole sits in the central part of the tread and the tyre has not been damaged by running flat. Sidewall damage and anything outside those limits means a new tyre, and we will not plug it from the outside to save a sale.
Wheels are tightened with a torque wrench rather than left at impact-gun tightness, as TyreSafe advises, which also means the nuts will undo with a normal wheel brace next time. And we only fit new tyres: we do not sell part-worns, and we do not do brakes, batteries or alignment.
If you want to check a tyre yourself, the tyre date code checker shows how old it is from the DOT code on the sidewall, and the tyre size calculator compares two sizes.
London and the Home Counties are closest to the base, and we also take jobs further out in the Midlands. We do not work nationally, and we have no base or van stationed outside Brent Cross, so a distant job takes longer to reach. Call with the postcode and we will tell you straight away whether we can take the job, and give you the arrival time on the call. The areas we cover page lists every region and town.
