If the tyre has gone on the A435 Alcester Road or the A4040 Outer Circle, get off the main road into a side street only if you can do it slowly and safely.
Tell us whether the car is on the High Street or by the village square, near Kings Heath Park or Highbury Park, or out towards Brandwood, Yardley Wood, Druids Heath or the Maypole. Retail parks, trading estates and station car parks need the operator's permission first.
Station, retail park and industrial estate car parks are private land. The fitter can work there only if the owner or operator allows it, so check the signs or ask first. A driveway or a quiet, well lit residential street is usually the easiest place for the work.
