Out of hoursRed routes and side streets from Euston Road to Finchley Road
Euston Road (A501) and Finchley Road (A41) are red routes. A car that loses a tyre on either has to be moved first, slowly and only if that is safe, into a side street or onto private ground.

Car parks at Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston stations, at University College Hospital and the Royal Free, and around Camden Market belong to their operators, and the work needs their agreement first.
- The area is inside the London-wide Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), in force since 29 August 2023: a charge for driving a vehicle that does not meet its emission standards, not for a parked car.
- If the car is in a controlled parking zone permit bay, tell us so the fitter can park legally beside it.
- We cannot stop or work on a red route; the car needs to be on a side street or private ground first.
- Only the southern edge of the borough, around Holborn and Bloomsbury, is inside the central London Congestion Charge zone.
Station, retail park and industrial estate car parks are private land. The fitter can work there only if the owner or operator allows it, so check the signs or ask first. A driveway or a quiet, well lit residential street is usually the easiest place for the work.
